Coloured town plan of London using the plate of Joannes de Ram that was first issued in 1690 to mark the accession of William and Mary to the English throne. Certainly one of the most decorative and rare maps of London, the map is illustrated with portraits of William and Mary and a panorama of London based on Merian’s view. The map has a detailed key to places in London along with a second key to Southwark. Blank verso. Other than some minor old marginal repairs, this map is a beautifully coloured example of one of the most sought after maps of London in excellent condition. 49 cm x 57 cm
